Joy in the Middle of Grief: Dr. Tasha Faruqui at TEDxUC San Diego
Dr. Tasha Faruqui, a member of the George Mark Children’s House Board of Directors, recently took the TEDxUC San Diego stage to share a deeply personal story about her daughter, Soraya, and what their family has learned about living with both grief and joy.
Tasha and her family first came to George Mark during a stop on her national book tour. What began as a meaningful family stay grew into a deeper connection with the House and, eventually, her service on the Board.
