Because Every Body Deserves Play
For more than 20 years, George Mark Children’s House has been a place of comfort and connection. But our original playground wasn’t accessible to most of the children it was meant to serve. Today, with 95% of our patients living with disabilities, we’re building a new vision: an all-abilities playground where every child, sibling, parent, and caregiver can play together.
Why it matters
Play is more than fun—it’s healing. It restores a sense of childhood, strengthens family bonds, and creates moments of joy. By designing for inclusion, we’re ensuring that children of all abilities can swing, rock, spin, rest, and laugh side by side.
We’re not there yet
Construction has begun, but we need $850,000 more to bring this space to life. Every gift brings us closer to opening a playground without barriers.
