A Special First Pitch at Oracle Park
On a memorable night at Oracle Arena, George Mark Children’s House therapy dog Dayo and his handler Liz had the honor of delivering the honorary first pitch. With tail wagging and spirits high, Dayo trotted confidently onto the field, much like a true Giant, reflecting the warmth and comfort he shares with children and families at George Mark.
For the fans in the stands, it was a delightful and unexpected highlight; for our community, it served as a proud reminder of the compassion and support that extend far beyond the walls of George Mark.
From the pitcher’s mound to the hallways of our House, Dayo reminds us that sometimes the greatest victories come through the simplest acts of care and connection.
