During a heartbreaking time in a family’s life,
George Mark Children’s House supports
parents and siblings meaningfully. Through
compassionate, holistic care, our palliative
nursing team offers assistance to each family
member. Our nursing staff are always attentive
to the needs of the child and family alike. We
administer medications, provide continuous
assessments, and match the pace that the family
sets. The goal of end-of-life care is to meet
patients and their families with comfort, dignity,
and unwavering support during life’s most
difficult moments.
End-of-Life Care
Children living with a cancer diagnosis come to
George Mark Children’s House to receive clinical
support in a number of ways. Around-the-clock
medical support offers a full range of skilled services,
including medications, respiratory treatments, and
central line care. Families may choose to stay at
GMCH with their children, or may take the
opportunity to focus on their own wellness through
respite care. Our aim is to foster a relationship with
the child and family so the George Mark staff can
be a continued source of support.
Cancer Care
