[People] Caitlin Dolaghan was just like any other California teen -worried about getting her driver’s license and what to wear to the prom. She was also battling a type of bone cancer. Caitlin lost her fight. surrounded by her mother Carol, dad John, sister Peggy and brother Wilson.
[People] George Mark Children’s House, known for its compassionate care for terminally ill children, caught the attention of Supernanny Jo Frost, who visited to learn about the home-like environment and support provided to families during their most challenging times.

[SF Gate] In this sprawling new home in the San Leandro hills, there's a giant train set, rustic fireplaces and a magical mural in every bedroom. When it opens in February, children from all over the Bay Area will come here to die.
[SF Gate] It is a lovely parcel of land in San Leandro, six acres at the foot of a grassy hill, with a view of San Francisco Bay to the west. A little more than a year from now, children will come here to die.
