Just this spring, the Iowa Senate advanced Senate File 2251, a bipartisan bill that would license pediatric palliative care centers across the state. The Siecks were among the advocates urging lawmakers to act, reminding legislators of the urgent need for specialized care that supports not only young patients but their entire families.
